Gingerbread

Ingredients

 350 g Flour (~1/3 Buckwheat, 2/3 GF flour mix)
 190 g Muscovado sugar
 0.50 tbsp Baking Powder
 0.50 tbsp Powdered Ginger
 1 tsp Cinnamon
 0.25 tsp Nutmeg
 0.25 tsp Cloves
 0.25 tsp Allspice
 110 g Butter
 90 g Treacle/Golden Syrup
 1 Egg/Flax egg

Directions

Heat Oven to 180.
A standard portion is 2x base recipe. Combine ingredients in batches of standard potion, as otherwise its too much dough to handle at once.

Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Rub in cold butter with fingers. Add treacle/golden syrup and egg, combine until a dough forms and then kneed for 3-4 mins.
Roll out and cut into shapes.
Bake 8-10 mins
